We all had a good time at the TLPOA ANNUAL POTLUCK PICNIC on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., at the Bridgeport Firehouse at Twin Lakes.

A big thank-you to our vice president, Ginny Cates, with husband Patrick Cates, and all the others who helped set up and clean up, including our treasurer, Rita Evasovic, with husband John, who manned the raffle table. And to Ramona Reed for being the Vanna White of the raffle (with the wonderful assistance from the Amatores’ grand-daughter, Kenzli, who’s standing). And thank you, former president Carlos Gomez, for grilling up hot dogs for us again this year.

We raised $640 from the raffle and $110 from the money pot. That total was more than last year.

And thank you to everyone who contributed to the TOY DRIVE (in conjunction with the Bridgeport Fire Department). Fire Chief Nick Way was most appreciative.
